Privacy Policy
Your scenes. Your choices. Your privacy.
This policy explains how FoldWallpapers for iOS and Android handles information. The app is provided by the developer of FoldWallpapers; you can contact the developer at the address below. You do not need an app account.
Built-in wallpapers work offline. When online, the app can refresh its catalog and download remote images. This policy is bundled with the app and can be read without an internet connection or login.

1. Preferences and activity on your device
Favorites, the last 20 recently viewed wallpaper IDs, language, preview clock and motion settings, and legacy preview positions are stored in the app's private local storage. The app does not upload these preference lists to a server. A request to load an uncached remote image can nevertheless reveal the requested wallpaper to the delivery provider.
2. Online catalog and image delivery
The app uses HTTPS to request its catalog, thumbnails, previews and selected export JPEGs from Cloudflare Pages. Catalog refresh can happen automatically when the app becomes active. Network requests expose the connection's IP address, the requested URL and artwork ID, request time, HTTP headers and connection information to the delivery service. The app sends a generic FoldWallpapers-Catalog/1 user agent, without an app account or advertising ID.
Cloudflare processes network information to deliver and protect the service and may retain operational or security records under its policies. The developer has not verified a single retention period for all of those records. The absence of an app analytics SDK does not mean that no information leaves your device or that the provider keeps no logs.
3. Saving, applying and sharing wallpapers
On iOS, Save requests permission to add the selected wallpaper JPEG to Photos. The app does not read your existing photo library. A temporary export file is removed after the Photos operation. Photos and any system cloud synchronization are controlled by your Apple settings.
On Android, Save writes the selected JPEG to Pictures/FoldWallpapers or a destination chosen in the system file picker on Android 7–9. Apply sends that JPEG to the system wallpaper service for Home, Lock or both. The app does not request broad access to read your photo library.
Share on Android opens the system chooser for the selected JPEG. If you choose another app, that app receives the file and handles it under its own privacy practices. Opening the chooser does not confirm that a recipient completed a share.
4. Retention, deletion and backups
Local preferences remain until you change or remove them or the app's data is deleted. Remove favorites individually and clear recently viewed items in Settings. The remote image cache uses a 256 MiB budget with least-recently-used eviction, not a fixed time limit. The accepted catalog snapshot remains until it is replaced or the app's private data is deleted.
Uninstalling the app or clearing its data normally removes its private data; operating-system backups can retain or restore some settings. OS-managed caches may be removed sooner. On Android, shared-file copies older than 24 hours are cleaned up on a later Share action, rather than by a guaranteed 24-hour timer. Failed or cancelled preparations remove their temporary files where the system allows cleanup.
Saved images in Photos, Pictures or a chosen folder, installed wallpapers, copies received by other apps, and system backups are managed outside the app. Removing the app does not remove all of those copies or Cloudflare's network records. Manage exported images and backups in the corresponding system or receiving app.
5. Analytics and advertising
The current app does not integrate advertising, app analytics or remote crash-reporting SDKs, and does not create an app account or advertising profile. Cloudflare's service-side network processing described above is separate from app analytics. No location, contacts, microphone or camera feature is used to select wallpapers.
6. Questions and privacy requests
Contact the developer using the privacy email below to ask about your information or request access or deletion where applicable. If you send an email, the developer and the mail providers receive your address, message and any details you choose to include to handle the request. Correspondence can remain in the mailbox or backups until deleted; no automatic deletion deadline is promised here. Please avoid sending sensitive information.
Opening an external browser or mail app is optional and follows that app's privacy practices. The policy remains available here if a link cannot be opened. Updates to this policy are identified by the date above.
7. This website
This website is provided by Ihor Urbanskyi and hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Visiting it sends normal network information to Cloudflare, including your IP address, request time, page or image path, headers and connection metadata. The website has no signup form, advertising, external fonts or analytics script. Our site code does not set cookies, create a browser profile or send your gallery selections to us.
